As an example, I'm currently writing you from Lake Tahoe, leveraging AI to produce this very newsletter, so that I can get as much done on the road as possible. |

There are many AI tools to help conduct research. My favorites include, Scispace AI, Delv.ai, and Upword.ai. However, ChatGPT allows users to do mostly the same thing, so long as you properly prompt the AI on exactly what you want. |

ChatGPT can also play a key role in enhancing legal analysis and helping craft convincing arguments. By providing ChatGPT with case information or legal scenarios, the AI tool can offer insights, related legal principles, or potential counterarguments. |

What's the trick to crafting the perfect legal prompt? Here it is:
1) type "you are a legal expert," so that the AI will focus specifically on databases most relevant to the law.
You'll then get a message like this, which you can ignore:
"As an AI developed by OpenAI, I've been trained on a wide variety of data and subjects, including law. This allows me to provide information, suggestions, and help with legal topics. However, I should clarify that I'm not a lawyer or a legal expert in the human sense..." |

3) type, "ask me questions, to confirm you understand what I want."
Then the AI will give you typically 6-10 questions, to fine tune the AI's response. |

The AI tools we discussed today, are designed to help us work smarter, not harder. Using the right ChatGPT prompt, can help AI give us the best and most relevant answers. |
