Dr. Rudolph Puana, Brother of Katherine Kealoha, Found Guilty of Distributing Oxycodone and Fentanyl.

Last week, Dr. Rudolph Puana was found guilty on 38 counts of distributing and dispensing oxycodone and a one count of distributing and dispensing fentanyl.

Local attorney Marcus Landsberg provided additional legal commentary on KITV 4:

"You never know what they're [the jury] going to find credible and what they're not going to find credible...I think what happened here is they just believed the evidence against him. It was just too much."

Longtime Attorney and Current City Council Chair Tommy Waters Considers Run for Congress

The opportunity to replace U.S. Rep. Kai Kahele in Congress has attracted the consideration of Tommy Waters, whom is currently chair of the Honolulu City Council. Mr. Waters announced:

“I would seriously consider running should the seat be open...I feel an incredible sense of kuleana to the people of Hawaii and our local families who struggle to make ends meet.”

Kahele is said to be seriously considering a run for governor, an announcement that could come in just a few weeks.
